According to the Ministry of Climate Change, Total climate and disaster finance mobilized and utilized VT 41,848,526,000, In 2025 alone Vanuatu significantly scaled up access to external climate and disaster finance, with a total of approximately VT 41.8 billion mobilized to support national and community-level programs. These funds have been accessed through multiple sources, including Green Climate Fund (GCF) Bilateral and multilateral development partners Climate adaptation and resilience programs (e.g., VCAP, VCCRP, renewable energy projects) The financing has supported a wide range of community-focused activities, including: Renewable energy access and rural electrification Climate adaptation and resilience-building initiatives Early warning systems and disaster preparedness Ecosystem protection and livelihood support.
